I had the privilege of attending the Global Sustainability Summit on October 5, 2024, hosted by Northeastern University. The event brought together renowned global experts and industry leaders to tackle today’s most pressing sustainability challenges. Key highlights included discussions on India’s leadership in climate change, China’s innovation-driven contributions to a greener future, and the role of social entrepreneurship in advancing sustainability in underprivileged communities. It was inspiring to witness such collaborative efforts toward creating a sustainable future!

Earth Day 2024：

Earth Day is an annual event on April 22 to demonstrate support for environmental protection. First held on April 22, 1970, it now includes a wide range of events coordinated globally by EARTHDAY.ORG (formerly Earth Day Network)including 1 billion people in more than 193 countries.The official theme for 2024 is "Planet vs. Plastics." 2025 will be the 55th anniversary of Earth Day.

This Japanese artist seeks inspiration from his surroundings to bring attention and awe to viewers, as a way of sending warnings about the painful reality of environmental disasters. Central to his practice are metaphors of grief and the undeniable aspects of life that are often beyond society’s control, including the fundamental forces of Mother Nature.
